In the event will be presented:<\/p>\n

\u00abHealth Rights in the EU:\u00a0 Third Age Citizens in Greece\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event is implemented in the framework of the project \u201cCognitive Enrichment of European health rights for the Elderly (E-geia)\u201d funded by the BUILD program.<\/p>\n

The general objective of E-geia is to provide people of the third age the opportunity to know their rights in the EU context through the understanding of practical benefits about them. This way they can use health services more effectively with useful practical information mainly for their access and more efficient use, with the ultimate goal of improving their physical and mental health.<\/p>\n

A parallel aim is to raise awareness among the Civil Society Organizations\/CSO, relatives and students of health professions, mainly on discrimination and equal treatment issues.<\/p>\n

The project \u201cCognitive Enrichment of European health rights for the Elderly (E-geia)\u201d is implemented in the framework of BUILD program, by the Union of Working Consumers of Greece in partnership with the Institute of Innovation and Development Studies.<\/p>\n

The project \u201cBuilding a robust and democratic civic space\u201d (BUILD) aims to protect, promote and widely recognize the EU fundamental rights and values, through the support of Civil Society Organization in Greece and the Republic of Cyprus and the strengthening of their capacities and sustainability.<\/p>\n

BUILD Program cofunding is provided by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency, within the framework of the program \u201cCitizens, Equality, Rights and Values\u201d (CERN) the Bodosaki foundation in Greece and the NGO Support Center in the Republic of Cyprus with a funding amount of 2,9 million Euros. . The coordinator of BUILD is Bodosaki Foundation (Greece) in partnership with the NGO Support Center in the Republic of Cyprus. \u00a0<\/p>\n
