In this framework, the Union of Working Consumers of Greece proceeds to actions of social solidarity for the treatment of the difficult economic situation of the consumers and for the treatment of the emergency management.<\/p>\n

Concentration of food and of indispensable articles takes place in regular time periods and they are distributed to the economically vulnerable groups. This action takes place with the help of citizens, the local firms, the local producers and the agricultural associations as well as \u201cthe food and indispensable articles money boxes\u201d which are set at the cities super markets.<\/p>\n

Free drug distribution<\/strong><\/p>\n

Concentration of drugs takes place and they are distributed to the Social Clinics in various places.<\/p>\n

Offset and Environment<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Local Offices in collaboration with the Environmental organizations and the local institutions offer their help with the best possible way for the protection of the environment and implement in regular time periods actions of collection and recycling with offset such as for example used frying oil and plastic tops of bottles.<\/p>\n

Charity actions<\/strong><\/p>\n

Organization of basketball matches between groups of students and concerts with charity content, since the viewers do not pay a ticket and offer foods or clothes to the socially vulnerable groups.<\/p>\n
